1972 Pontiac LeMans GT - 130,868 Miles Imagine a collector car that is as easily capable of cross-country trips as it is of winning a national show. Chuck purchased this car new in May of 1972, three months before his wedding. He drove it to Graduate School in UW Madison, then to Kentucky and finally to New Hampshire where he taught until retirement when he moved back to his hometown, where they now reside in southwest WI. This was his only car while getting his education, raising a family and establishing a career. He wanted a GTO but being a student, that was out of his price range. He decided, instead, on a Lemans GT that he optioned as close as he could to a GTO. The car you see here is that very car, restored as it was when new. Chuck was meticulous with the car and maintenance of this car when new and carried that enthusiasm through the years, right up until his decision to have a full frame-off restoration performed by Muscle Car Restoration of
