The chrome is all excellent. The only modifications are power brakes and an FM radio. It comes with 16 boxes of spares (used and NOS) plus trim, two extra fenders (just in case). The car wins trophies everywhere. BUICK 1949 56-C SUPER CONVERTIBLE. Straight 8, 248 cu.in., automatic ‘Dynaflow' transmission, power windows roof, seat; fog lights, backup lights, front and rear bumper overriders, AM-FM Radio. This is an older restoration so there are rattles, but it's a gorgeous car and has had a lot of TLC during the 20 years it has lived with me (new roof, carpets, power window pumps, shocks rebuilt, new tires and more). It is in excellent condition, only 70,000 miles, drives like a charm and everything works except the clock.
